"Bond 22"

In a most unusual step, the release date of the next James Bond has been announced as the 2nd of May 2008. 

There is no script but mighty action director Roger Mitchell is strongly rumoured to be in talks. 

The press release which stated that Eon couldn't be more excited about Craig was a piece of PR guff of the highest order. 

Those of a more cynical bent would suggest the real reason the next Bond is being fastracked is as follows: Barbara Broccoli would look very,very silly indeed if Craig only made one film.
